ABOUT ME
CharYooperie brings all of that together.
I personally handle every part of the business — from sourcing and taste-testing products, to curating each box, to writing handwritten notes, to packing and shipping orders across the country. I proudly partner with local and regional makers, highlighting Upper Peninsula products and small businesses to share the flavors of the North far beyond our borders.
My goal is simple:
to create a handcrafted grazing experience that feels warm, thoughtful, and unmistakably Up North.
Hi! I’m Kalee, the founder and curator behind CharYooperie.
The idea for CharYooperie came from the intersection of my experiences as a tour guide, commercial model, and lifelong lover of food — all roles rooted in meaningful moments.
As a tour guide for various destinations across the U.P, I was excited to share the story of the Upper Peninsula through local culture, tangible experiences, and memorable storytelling. Every stop, every moment was designed to make people feel where they are, not just see it.
As a model, I developed an eye for presentation, detail, and visual imagery. And through my love of food, I’ve always believed that sharing a meal is one of the most fun ways to connect with people.
